The new model of HP OfficeJet 150 comes with a touch screen that does not really add value to the printing functions. However, the retail price is up to $399 where it is an unreasonable price. Bluetooth connectivity & multiple scanning options are very beneficial to you who need printer access away from the office.
Design & Features
OfficeJet 150 has a physical composition that is similar to its predecessor. It comes with a 2.36” touch screen folding back flush into the machine when in transport mode. It also offers a series of virtual buttons for menu navigation. Then, other side of the control panel features 4 backlit icons illuminating to indicate the status of a Bluetooth connection and your print/scan/copy job monitors.
This printer retains the same silver color scheme with a big lid extending over the machine. The corners are contoured. The output bay, lid & ink cartridge neatly cover all fold into the printer’s body for streamlined transport.
OfficeJet 150 is compact. Measuring at 13.98” x 6.96” x 3.52”, it is easy to transport. With the Lithium-ion rechargeable battery included, it weighs only 6.4 pounds.
You’ll find an integrated 50-sheet paper input guide that comes with an adjustable slider to fit any media size from 8.5” x 11” paper down to 3” x 5” index cards. Then, HP OfficeJet 150 also offers another slider in front, allowing you to adjust the size of an original document feeder into the single-sheet scanner.
On the back, there’s a USB port. It is also PictBridge that is compatible for printing snapshots off a digital camera. It offers versatile connectivity options. Bluetooth is the latest tool for integration.
Performance
This printer continues to demonstrate the fast print speeds. It prints 5.86 ppm for text and 2.3 ppm for presentation slideshow. For full graphics, it is just a little bit slower.
OfficeJet 150 deserves praise for its qualitative performance. It delivers near laser-like qualities in black text with graphics that expose accurate coloration as well as seamless shading transitions.
Conclusion
Besides the single-sheet scanner & the trendy touch screen, its price really jumps high. If you are looking for an easy-to-use printer to print documents, handouts, or presentations, HP OfficeJet 150 is recommended & available for a fraction of the cost. Even though it comes with a premium cost, its fast output performance, flexible scanning options, and Bluetooth wireless printing make this printer a viable option.
