Design
This printer is an all-in-one printer that looks good and comes with a small footprint. It has shallow S-curve to the top concealing a 30-sheet ADF. Besides, it also offers a flatbed scanner lid triggering a change on the 88mm color LCD when lifted, to show copy, scan & fax options. It comes with an 8.8cm LCD display offering touch-screen control.
Features
XP-800 features control panel that powers out to a convenient angle when it starts printing. However, it feels a little bit flimsy when touched.
Then, this machine is also equipped with an output tray powering out at the same time. There are 2 feed trays at the bottom: one for 100 sheets of plain paper & another one for 20 photo blanks. Besides, you will find a CD/DVD carrier. In addition, this machine is featured with a single-sheet feed used for special media.
At the left of the output trays, Epson XP-800 offers a flip-open that reveals memory card slots designed for SD &Memory Stick cards. Then, there is a front-panel USB socket below. This can handle PictBridge cameras, too.

This printer is really good for its print quality. The result looks more natural & with less emphasis on blues & reds. Even though XP-850 is better in color print, XP-800 is still good at reproducing original colors in copies.
